Know where you stand

We believe it’s important you know where you stand legally before mediation gets underway. So you start by meeting and instructing the London lawyer you spoke with. Your fixed fee will be confirmed and you’ll be made of aware of your broad entitlements under the law before mediation gets underway.

Legal support, however, does not end there. To ensure you remain informed, your lawyer will continue to give legal advice in parallel to mediation. You’ll also meet your lawyer a second time once mediation is underway to discuss important decisions before you take them.

Thereafter, your lawyer will review any agreement reached at mediation before recording aspects of it in legally binding documents.

Knowing that legal advice is available to both clients throughout the process reinforces the prospects of reaching a just agreement at mediation.
